Searches

A Search allows you to group various tags together into a single element, and then apply that element to various lookup points in your subdomain portal and livestream presentations.

Overview

  • When uploading a file to MediaManager, users can associate tags with the file, such as a project name or keywords.

  • This feature streamlines the process of locating files that belong to specific project, sponsor, or have certain keywords. It enables users to organize and retrieve files efficiently, based on their project & sponsor-related and keyword-related tags.

  • This feature is utilized within VisionStream to present media files in the stream viewer. Admin users associate a specific search when creating a breakout, facilitating effortless access to all media files associated with that particular breakout. This streamlined approach relies on meaningful project and keyword tags attributed to the uploaded media, ensuring efficient organization and retrieval.

Press the '+' icon in the upper right of the Searches listing page to open the create new Search page

  • Required fields

  • Name

    • The name of search which will be visible to the other users in your account.

  • Optional fields

  • Project tag
    • Choose existing or enter new project tag which you have associated while uploading the file in MediaManager
  • Keywords tag
    • Choose existing or enter new keywords which you have associated while uploading the file in MediaManager
  • Sponsor tag
    • Choose existing or enter new sponsor tag which you have associated while uploading the file in MediaManager
  • Channel tag
    • Choose existing or enter new channel tag which you have associated while uploading the file in MediaManager

Show Files

You will be directed to the file card view, where you can view all the files uploaded with that specific sponsor, project, keyword and channel tags.

You can edit any Search and change the values of any field.

  • Press the trash icon to the right of the edit search record on the Searches listing page to delete the search.
