Account

Tips on how to manage your account, and how to authorize new accounts.

Overview

An Account is created upon completion of the user onboarding process. During this process, the user will input information about themselves, along with information regarding the organization which they represent.

Also during onboarding, users will choose a Service Plan and Service Term which best meets their streaming requirements.

Create new Account

New accounts are initiated by the Account Authorization Process.

Edit Account

You can edit your Account and change the values of any fields provided you have the necessary permissions.

Service Plan and Features

  • Service Plan
  • You select the specific service plan you wish to subscribe for your account.
  • Service Plan allows you to choose the level of services and features that best meet your needs.
  • When selecting a service plan, it's important to review the details, fees, and benefits associated with each option.
  • By selecting the appropriate service plan, you ensure that your account is structured to provide the services and features you require while aligning with your preferences and financial goals.
  • Service Term
  • You specify the duration or length of time for which you are committing to the services provided.
  • Service Term typically indicates the period during which you agree to maintain the account and utilize the services offered.
  • Make sure to select a service term that aligns with your intended usage and provides the flexibility you require.
  • Features
  • You can select specific features or functionalities you would like to have access to as a user of the streaming service.
  • These features enhance your streaming experience and may provide additional benefits or options beyond the basic streaming capabilities.
  • By choosing the appropriate features, you can tailor your streaming experience to your liking and access the specific content and functionalities that enhance your enjoyment of the streaming service.

Show Usage

A Usage profile is generated after every breakout has been completed. At the account level, Usage is calculated as the cumulative usage of all breakouts belonging to the account.

    • Delivery in GB's
    • Conversion in minutes
    • Storage in GB
  • Charges
    • Streaming in USD
    • Packaging in USD
    • Delivery in USD

Show Invitations

You can send invitations to other users, inviting them to join your VisionStream account.

Invited users, once enrolled, will inherit minimum user privileges. It is the responsibility of the enrolling user to assign privileges to the newly enrolled user.

  • Press the '+' icon to Create New Invitation.
  • Enter the name and email address of the user you want to invite.
  • Once the invitation is created, it is marked as 'READY' and can be sent.
  • When the invitation recipient clicks on the link to begin the sign-up process, the invitation is updated to 'ACCEPTED'.
  • An invitation is marked as 'COMPLETED' when the user has successfully joined the account.
  • You can track whether the invitation is 'READY', 'ACCEPTED', or 'COMPLETED'
  • The 'READY' state is designated by an amber icon.
  • The 'ACCEPTED' state is designated by half-amber and green icon.
  • The 'COMPLETED' state is designated by a green icon.

You can revoke the invitation before the recipient accepts it. You may re-invite the user at a later time.
