Attendee Sign-in options are set in the Group record.
Overview
VisionStream Groups are made available to your attendees via a VisionStream subdomain site portal.
There are several different login scenarios you can employ at the attendee login screen to allow access to your content.
- Login Options:
- Default
- Imported attendees directly into your site. Once entered, the attendee only has to enter their email address to gain access to your published event.
- This scenario works well for conferences, where an attendee list is created beforehand, and imported directly into a site's user table.
- Allow Guest Sign-In
- Use this option if you wish to provide anonymous attendees the ability to add themselves to your attendee list.
- Attendees will be required to authenticate themselves using 2-factor authentication with a valid email address.
- Use this option if you wish to provide anonymous attendees the ability to add themselves to your attendee list.
- Require Authentication
- Requires ALL attendees to authenticate themselves ONE TIME before access is granted to an Event.
- Offers heightened security by forcing all attendees, regardless of login option (Default or Guest) to authenticate before access.
