Streams
A stream is a show, performance, presentation - anything one would consider streaming.
- A Stream is a child of a group.
- A Group (usually) contains many streams.
- Admin users create new streams, entering name, date / time, duration, type, headline, sponsor and image galleries.
Workflow

If the stream has not yet ran, clicking the stream name will navigate the user to Rehearsal / Go Live view.

If the stream has completed, clicking the stream name will navigate the user to the Stream Overview page.
- This page will contain stream usage and attendance metrics.
Published vs. Hidden streams
- Published streams will display in calendars and other forward-facing pages.
- Unpublished streams are hidden and cannot be accessed by an attendee.
Active vs. Completed Streams
- Active streams are grouped under Upcoming or Coming Soon headers throughout the program.
- Completed streams are grouped under 'Completed' header throughout the program.
Rehearsal Stage
- Navigating to a stream which is active will navigate the admin user to the Rehearsal / Go Live view.
- Rehearsal stage view allows the admin user the ability to preview lighting, staging, sound and other metrics important to a successful stream.
Go Live
- Navigating to a streams which is active will navigate the user to the Rehearsal / Go Live view.
- From this view, the admin user can navigate to Go Live view, adn commence the livestream.

Hide Completed
Hide Completed streams toggle allows you to quickly filter out streams which have already completed.
- You can filter streams to show only the those currently active / in progress.
- Streams which have been completed will be removed from the list.
- Filter streams setting persists over browser sessions.
Stream Details View
The Stream Details view is where you enter details specific to your stream.
Create New Stream
Press the '+' icon in the upper right of the Group listing page to open the Create New Stream page.
- Required fields:
- Name
- The name of stream which will be visible to the audience.
- Name
- Optional fields:
- Calendar Visibility
- Streams will display in the calendar if set to active.
- Moderated Forum
- Moderate the comments made by audience if set to active.
- Location
- Your physical streaming location.
- Charge Amount
- Amount you want to charge for the stream.
- Tip Jar
- Set if you want to show a 'donation' page to your users.
- Transcription
- Set if you want to have a text transcription generated from your livestream.
- Search
- Assign a search to display download files associated with a stream.
- Description
- Additional information about your stream.
- Pipeline
- The input Pipeline you want to use for streaming.
- Source IP
- IP of the system you are streaming from.
- Start Time
- Time at which you want to start the stream.
- Note that Start time is entered as UTC value, though the local equivalent is output for reference.
- Hours
- Hours for which you want to stream.
- Minutes
- Minutes for which you want to stream.
- Calendar Visibility
Edit stream
You can edit any stream and change the values of any field, except:
- When a stream has completed, the following fields are disabled and cannot be changed:
- Moderated Forum
- Transcription
- MP4 Recording
- Pipeline
- Source IP
- Start Time
- Hours, Minutes
You can change Charge Amount and Tip Jar to enable (or disable) the monetization process after a stream has completed.
Go Live
Go Live is where you start, monitor and stop your livestreaming sessions.

Stream details
The stream Subview allows you to view the high-level metrics which comprise a stream.

To enter the Subview, click on any stream title, provided the stream has completed.

Attendance
Attendance is automatically tracked for every stream.
- View attendee table:
- Name
- City
