Articles

VisionStream admin uses can easily create articles and set articles accessible via a site's Article Export feature.

Overview

The Article view displays a list of articles in a structured manner.

  • Admin users can create and update articles content.

Create New Article

Press the '+' icon in the upper right of the Articke listing page to open the Create New Articlesss page

  • Required fields
    • Title
      • The title of articles post which will be visible to the users on Blogs page.
  • Optional fields
    • Published
      • Toggle this option to set the articles post as either published (true) or unpublished (false).
    • Featured
      • Toggle this option to set the articles as either featured (true) or not featured (false).
      • Featured articles posts will be highlighted on articles page by "Featured" badge.
    • Group
      • Specify the group to which articles post belongs.
    • Summary
      • Provide a brief summary or overview of your post.
    • Text
      • Enter the main text or content of your article using provided text editor.

Admin users can edit any article and change the values of any field by clicking on the article's name in the Article list view.

VisionStream maintains a simple UI construct which allows for the easy identification of Published and Featured articles.

Published vs. Unpublished

  • Published articles will display in Articles section of the site portal.
  • Unpublished articles are hidden and cannot be accessed by an attendee.

Delete article

  • Press the trash icon to the right of the featured articles indicator on the article listing page to delete the article.
  • The application will prompt the user to confirm their intention to delete the article.
  • Once the user confirms the deletion, the articles is deleted.

WARNING: Deleting is final. This action cannot be undone.
